The Bethesda Birthday Bash celebrating our 20th year was nothing short of spectacular. Thank you to these wonderful cake decorators, our sponsors, volunteers and everyone else for believing in our patients and the mission of Bethesda. You are AMAZING!!! We raised over $370,000 on cakes alone and over $500,000 on the event, making it a record-breaking year.
What a great night. Thank you to all of the wonderful support from this community! Incredible group of cake decorators. The money raised will be put to great use to help our neighbors!

20 YEARS!!! Can you believe it’s been TWENTY years? Twenty years of walking alongside our community serving thousands of East Texans by providing high-quality medical and dental care. Twenty years of being the hands and feet of Christ to our patients. Twenty years of thousands of under-insured yet working citizens finding physical and spiritual healing because of the ministry of Bethesda Health Clinic.
Bethesda’s Birthday Bash is our annual fundraiser hosted by the Bethesda Alliance. It is a yearly celebration of Bethesda’s birthday and an opportunity for others to participate in the ministry. The Bash has a special place in my heart because, while in attendance several years ago, I joined the Bethesda Alliance whose sole purpose is to support the Clinic.
For 2023, we are going to celebrate “The Roaring 20!” We anticipate a festive evening reminiscing about the last 20 years and looking forward to the next 20
years. For our 20th anniversary gala expect a red carpet entrance, the Cake Walk of Fame, an elegant dinner complete with classy entertainment and delightful company. The 20th anniversary celebrity cake decorators auctioning off their custom birthday cakes to celebrate our 20th birthday will highlight the evening!
It is a privilege to work alongside an organization such as Bethesda Health Clinic. Where else can you spend your time, energy and money with a ministry that promotes and glorifies Christ like this? We hope you will consider joining us in our ROARING celebration. Never make small what God intended to be BIG!

About the Bethesda Birthday Bash
In its fourteenth year, the Bethesda Birthday Bash is an annual celebration hosted by the Bethesda Alliance to raise funds in support of the mission of Bethesda Health Clinic. Since its inception in 2010, over one million dollars has been raised to provide primary medical and dental care to low-income, working uninsured or under-insured people in Smith County and the surrounding region. BHC takes no federal or state funding and relies on private donations to enhance the endeavors of the Clinic.
People you know and come into contact with daily such as your neighbor, your favorite waiter or your child’s daycare teacher sometimes struggle finding cost-effective healthcare. Our mission is to furnish healthcare to these hardworking adults. We envision our clinic as embodying Christ in action, bringing healing and hope to the people we serve.
