The gratitude our patients have for the clinic is unimaginable.
Here is a story from Dr. Berlingeri, a volunteer dermatologist who serves at the clinic. ❤️
“This is one of my patients i see @bethesdahealthclinic . Which btw, if you are not a volunteer there yet...what are you waiting for?!!
Out of gratitude, she came and cooked for me and my family fresh, from scratch asian food!
🌟Whole red snapper with sesame oil and stuffed with fresh ginger.
🌟from scratch fried rice
🌟from scratch potstickers
THIS right here are the moments that to me as a physician, makes it all worth it!...connecting with my patients beyond the examining room 🥰” ... See MoreSee Less

#MissionMonday: Tim's Story 💙
"I’ve spent 30 years with severe pain. It has been miserable. I have been to several doctors in the past and they have tried different medications and nothing helped. No one could figure it out.
I am uninsured and I went to Bethesda. They really listened. Dr. Humphries heard my story and prescribed a new medicine that worked immediately. The pain is gone and I am sleeping again and it’s like a miracle to me.
He listened to my story and said, 'Let’s do this'
The pain made me want to not exist on this earth anymore. I am not the type to think those thoughts. My quality of life was terrible.... Bethesda changed my life." ... See MoreSee Less
They are truly a blessing, took care of me until I was eligible for Medicare. Thank you!
Thank you BHC for another caring miracle!!!

Would YOU answer the call and be one of 25? ✔️👏
Our board of directors is donating $1500 to Bethesda Health Clinic if we can meet our goal of getting 25 NEW monthly donors!
Just $25 per month provides a primary care visit for someone without health insurance, or help with medication. We know these needs continue to grow as over 659,000 Texans become uninsured due to COVID-related layoffs.
The Pillars of Bethesda program is a monthly giving circle that allows us to plan accordingly throughout the year. Each person who joins Pillars will receive a t-shirt adorned with a sketch of the clinic, drawn by a patient who loved what Bethesda offered – hope and healing in the name of Jesus (see photo).

I made my first monthly donation last month. I hope you can count me in that 25.
When Connie's abdominal pain persisted, she imagined the
worst. Her physical symptoms added to the stress she was already feeling – raising small children, she and her husband both working hard but neither with health insurance, the recent death of both her parents. A friend told her about Bethesda Health Clinic, but she was hesitant.
“I didn’t know anything about this place. I didn’t know what it was like.I didn’t know if they would accept me. The volunteer at the front desk, the first face I saw, was so kind and welcoming. ‘Don’t worry,’ the volunteer said, ‘we can help you.’
Fast forward a few years later, Connie is now a registered nurse, and has returned to Bethesda to volunteer. What an amazing story of grace.💙 ... See MoreSee Less
