I sat in the Pastor’s Library at First Baptist, Tyler while Mike Massar told me about a Doctor at UT Heath Center who wanted us to help her start a clinic for employees without health insurance. The church agreed to help. Then the Doctor took a job in California. We thought the idea was dead. Soon after I found myself flipping channels late one sleepless night. I saw a man standing in a hospital hallway saying they did not plan to have a seminar to teach others how to have a clinic for employees who did not have insurance but the demand was so great that they were having a seminar. I sent an email right then to Dr. Massar. Dr Todd Raabe and Pat Mallory went to that seminar. I never felt like I contributed much to the starting of the clinic but I certainly was a witness to God at work! Today the Clinic serves hundreds of people every month! What a wonderful God we serve!
